While BooCo Construction started as a store fixture installation company, we have expanded and now also provide general contracting services and a service department. We serve Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska.
Much of our early general contracting arose from requests made by our existing store fixture clients. They needed a general contractor that could take on management-intensive projects, and they knew that we were capable. This was a natural progression as many members of our management staff have general contracting backgrounds. While we are a young company, most individuals on our management team have 20 years of construction experience, including retail, schools, business
parks, office buildings and multi-family projects.
This is where we started, and it will always be an integral part of our business. We have the best people in the industry with decades of experience in store fixtures. Because we employ our own experienced carpenters and laborers for this work, we are very competitive and still meet quality, schedule and safety requirements. We gladly perform this work as a subcontractor to a general contractor or directly for an owner. Repeat clients make up the bulk of this part of our business, but we are always looking for new opportunities.
This area of our business was driven by our clients’ needs. When a checkstand goes down, owners need to be able to get it back in operation quickly or they lose sales. In the low margin arena of retail, down-time is unacceptable. BooCo Construction has three full-time service people, located in both Portland and Seattle, to better serve our clients of the Pacific Northwest.
